I am disappointed in the previous reviews. I am a transplanted Memphian, currently living on Coastal North Carolia. Whenever I go home, I always have a casual meal at the Belmont Grille. Greasy spoon joint, but--when it comes to greasy spoon joints--this place is first rate (for what it is). I recommend the steak sandwich. more

My friend and I took our wives to the Belmont grill in Memphis. We love the setting and atmosphere of the bar. The service was great, but we had some problems with the food. The menu was misleading with the prices as well as how the food was cooked. If you like your food BOILED (bbq and po boy included)... more

Old, dirty and crowded but the food is so good! They have the best burger in the city and the quality of the food is always great. Stay away from the salads, they are about as good as a salad in a sack but everything else is wonderful if you like bar food, as I do. more
