As the name suggests, Depot Grille is adjacent to railroad tracks, and we really enjoyed not one, but two trains that passed by and blew their train horns during our dinner there. The refurbished brick walls add a great deal of atmosphere, as does the kitchen being located in what looks like two train cars. The menu is varied enough... more

I eat here all the time. It is absolutely great. The ribs are my favorite and on Mondays (I think) they do all you can eat. They also have 4-5 local beers that while not amazing are a nice change. Eat here if you have time while visiting the burg. more

Love the atmosphere! Hard to beat their French dip sandwich. We take most of our out-of-town guests here to get a taste of Lynchburg—both of the food and the architecture of Downtown. more
