Very good fish and chips at a fair price (for Maui). We ate here on our way back from Hana. Finding parking was a bit of a challenge (we had to park a few blocks away), and you have to go outside to use the restroom, but that's OK. Located in an area with lots of funky shops to browse.... more

My wife was craving a good fish & chips meal after being somewhat disappointed at the Front St. Grill in Lahaina. We both ordered the fish & chips at the Fish Market friday, the last day of our stay in Maui. This is where the locals go to have a great meal. The price is fair and the food is first class. We have been several times, it's crowded but worth it. My husband and I had gotten an "insider tip" that this was a not-to-be-missed restaurant. It was our first and our favorite meal (lunch) on Maui 2 years ago. We went with the recommended Grilled Ono sandwich and it was awesome. We are going back to Maui next week and will definitely include a trip back to the Paia Fish... more

We ate at Mammas, Roys and The Waterfront and the fish here was as good as anywhere!!! Now if it is atmosphere you are looking for try one of the others.
