Every time an occasion arises where we want a special meal it is Cafe Zack for us. Restaurant is in a small house. Quiet, friendly, superb service. Cafe Zack is clearly the best cuisine in Ventura. I've only been there on VERY special occasions because it's so pricey, but it's the best steak you can get in ventura, and the Zak's pie is one of the greatest desserts i've ever had. they have this lady from mexico come in early in the morning and make fresh caramel from scratch for their desserts more
