Our friends took us here while we were in Philly. The food was fantastic and the live opera singing was incredible. We'd been to this type of place before (one in San Jose and one in Los Angeles). This was just as great. Our server wasn't the best, but she sure could sing so we let the spotty service go. more

I first experienced the Victor Cafe in the late 1960's when I was a graduate student at Penn. Whenever we had a distinguished out of town guest we went to Victor and everyone was blown away--the perfect Philadelphia experience. This is one of my favorite restaurants. I am not an opera fan, but I am when I go there. The food is great. They have the best fish & butternut squash gnocchi. YUM more
