First of all I am a Brit who regularly comes to Philadelphia. A good old stand-by near Rittenhouse Square. I always take my 91-year-old friend there for lunch because she loves it. Service is fast and efficient, prices are low, and portions are large enough that you can usually take home enough for tomorrow's lunch. Nothing too fancy on the menu, but the food is fresh and good.
