The first time we ate here, the food was alright, service was excusable on the busy night. The next time, the service was worse, the food bad, but the bottles of Negra Modelo cheap. The third time, the service and food continued its decline. The chicken was undercooked, and even the rice was inedible. more

There are not many Mexican restaurants in Providence or RI for that matter, but this one is not Mexican and I really cant figure out what it is. It sits in a college area on a hill and is crowded with college kids. The decor is dumpy and trashy and the waitstaff could care less. They have no idea what... more

I used to live in Texas and enjoy Mexican food. Of all the places where I've eaten Mexican food, Tortilla Flats stands out as the place where I had the WORST Mexican food. I ordered a cheese enchilada which was tasteless and seemed more like congealed grease. My wife had chicken enchilada which was made up of mostly grizzle. Truly... more
