They have wi-fi, but it's only in the lobby - I couldn't get a signal from my room in the block right next to the lobby. You can sit in the lobby with your own laptop though.

The internet connection is sporadic and it's a bit of a joke to the reception desk how often it disappears, so don't plan on any mission critical stuff!

You can also pick up wifi access at Hemmingway's Bar in the mall and Roadways's which is a on the street before the mall. Roadway's has the better signal.

I should have mentioned that the "mall" is a few minutes walk from BB. Just go out from the lobby and hang a right.

I do not think it's a wise idea to take your laptop. Waste of time. Use the advice people gave you and don't worry that much about your kids.

My husband used his IPod touch to read and send e mails. The IPod Touch costs a lot less than a computer and takes up less space when traveling as well.
