Follow the "weather -Puerto Plata_ thread. I try to post every day. You can go back and look at the reports from Sept of last year.

Sept. is usually HOT and always the chance of a afternoon/evening shower. It is also hurricane season so even though the north coast has not had a major hurricane in 30-40 years or so we do get the occasional tropical storm which can be a couple of days of heavy rain and some heavy wind. The usual day however is more sun the rain.
