I booked through resortvacationstogo.com - I've used them before and they are great. The guy that helped me was Anthony Freese. I have since changed from PCP to Royal Catalonia and he handled the canx and rebooking at the new resort.

If you are brave, I found cheaper rates for some locations by clicking the link on tripadvisor - that gave you bookit.com and expedia etc. But I prefer to pay a few $ more and have a human that speaks English in the event I have a problem while on vacation. I tried calling someone at bookit.com just to see what I got and it was like calling Dell tech support....

BookIt.com is in NW Florida. Nothing but English here, often with a southern accent.

Are you sure it was BookIt.com you called?

I think the reference was to the fact that often these internet places only have info capsules for customer service instead of being able to speak to a real person. Not necessarily an English speaking person.

Hola LadyDuarte: We live in Maine and we fly out of Boston (Logan) for our trips to the DR. We are going to the Punta Cana Princess on Nov. 4 for 10 days. It will be our 9th trip to the DR!!

We have always used Vacation Travel Mart for our trips and they have always been the least expensives. We always check many other sites for prices. Beth Miller is our contact beth@vacmart.com Give her a shout and get a price quote from her to compare to others. Last year there was some possible problems with the hotel we were staying at, and Beth was in constant communication with us before our trip, and she even called us at the resort to check and see if everything was OK. Fantastic service with Vacation Travel Mart.
