How expensive is it for one man to fish on the island? Who has the cheapest cost, and can find the fish? I plan on being there in late August.

across the street from the hotel vistalmar to the right you will see a table, most of the time theres locals cleaning fish there,go over and ask if theres anyone who can take you out fishing.you will get someone, most of the time its for a half day and they like to take you trolling for cuda.Cuda fishing is good but if you want to catch good eating fish tell whoever takes you out you want to go bottom fishing and if they say ok make sure you do it.some time they say ok and then all you do is cuda troll. As for the cost, well its what ever you have to spend,50-60 for four hours seems good. good luck.

Yea, you should find their 'panga' boats I believe they're called, all over the North Beach area. 18-25' wooden boats w/ outboards. Can't miss them. We're staying at Nautibeach the 15-18th, & plan on doing the same. If you want a good guide who can hook you up with most anything, find Lorenzo Sosa down near the gas station (turn left as you get off the ferry, down a ways). Talked to him yesterday about a 3-4 hrs trip to tour lagoon, go around island, & some snorkeling. He's a very handy guy to know.

Forgot. Since you're solo, try Jackie at Jax Bar & Grill. Jackie runs the restaurant & bar & she can possibly hook you up on more of a deep-sea fishing trip that is already booked but maybe looking for another person. A great website is islamujeres.info if you haven't seen it already.
