I would take a PrimeraPlus bus directly from either terminal (T1 or T2) at MEX to Queretaro, and then a taxi directly from the Qro bus station to your lodging in SMdA.

I have done that many times - last on 18 April '08.

The PP first class bus was $249, pesos/$125, with an INAPAM card, and the taxi was $396, pesos.

Makes more sense if there are two or three.

The many shuttle services are less expensive for one person, but you might spend an hour riding around SanMiguel if the shuttle is full.

My LP gas guys warned me last week that all energy related pricing was taking a serious jump on 1 August.

I have not confirmed, but filled all my tanks this past week.

Food prices have climbed quite a bit, especially with the devalued USD.

Oh well, still beats paying $19,000. annually in Dallas residential property taxes.
