I think you will be quite surprised, as was I, when I first road a bus to Hermisillo.. They are nothing but nice, TV, reclining seats and nothing at all like the Greyhounds we have in the US. I know if you go to the bus depost in Tucson (it has moved from its old location) they will accomidate you...Forget all the BS you hear about the safety in MX..I live in Nogales, have a business in Rio Rico (10 miles from the Mx border) am a gringo and I feel totally safe where ever I go in Mexico...Americans have a bad reputation around the world as "Ugly Americans" and if you have traveled like I have you would know why...Just remember this "Treat people like you want them to treat you, you are in thier country and it is not above anyone to say "Por Favor" please and Gracias..Thank you.....Another term to learn is Where is the Banyo Where is the toilet?? I think I spelled it wrong but I am sure you understand what I am saying.

yeah I agree with you on Mexico , the chanse of you getting caught in violence there is same as wining lottery. One thing that I don't like is that the cops are very sly in negative way and try to extract money from you if they have a chanse. Cops in mexico are not professionals in my opinion.
