Marriott Spring Hill Suites is a good spot and close to the pier...you are sailing on the Maasdam I presume. About as reasonable as you are going to find in that vicinity.

This would have been perfect, but they are already full. Can you suggest another place.

Thankyou so much

Just about any address of a hotel listed as "Old Montreal" or "Vieux Montreal" will be in reasonable proximity to the waterfront and your pier.

If you decide to splurge a bit, I can highly recommend the Hotel Nelligan. Nice furnishings, pleasant staff, two on-site restaurants and a great rooftop bar with a view of the waterfront. We recently had a terrific stay there.

Good luck!
