I am travelling with a friend for a much needed weekend away and looking for a great restaurant for a dinner out. Good atmosphere and delicious not-too-expensive food.

A few good options without breaking the bank-Holder on Mc Gill-Mechant Boeuf on St.Paul, for a great terrace with live Jazz there is Jardin Nelson(great for brunch or lunch too)

Stash Cafe or Cafe Stash? on St. Paul has excellent Polish food and a good piano player. Reasonable price-wise. My wife wanted to return the next night she enjoyed it so much.
