Christina studios are really nice. Lovely pool and never overcrowded, clean spacious rooms and a good location. The only negative is that one block of the apartments are across the main road from the pool bar etc but that didn't bother us. If there is anything else you need let me know.

I would like to know where abouts in relation to the harbour they are. I don't recall seeing them last May.

Did you sample many of the tavernas ? any recommendations?

How was the car hire? any good?

The are next to the Hotel Lefkada about 100m from the Shell garage away from the harbour. You can cut down to the water front right next to the studios and walk to the harbour which is much nicer than walking along the main road.

To be honest I thought the tavernas is Ligia were pretty poor. However we only ate there twice. food is much better quality in Lefkas town.

We hired a car and it worked out 45 euros a day which was the best deal we could find. I would book before you go. Economycarrentals.com offer 3 days for 104 euro which is much cheaper and a more reputable firm and better standard of vehicles than the company we used!!! I would definately recommend visiting Egremi beach. It is spectacular. I wouldn't bother visiting the waterfalls near Nidri. They are a huge disappointment!!

Just a word of warning. If you are travelling with Kosmar they offer a trip to Lefkas Town on a Saturday night for 12 euros per person. Don't do it!! It costs 1.40 each on the bus to get there and 8 euros in a taxi on the way back!! Plus you can leave as early or as late as you want!!

I'm surprised to hear about the quality of the tavernas though.

We never use the reps to book any trips . We used the bus a couple of times last year and found it really convenient.
