unlike in other capital cities, Valletta is not the idael place to have your holiday home/base. Most recommend (and i fully agree) that you visit Valletta in the morning (or afternoon) and find holiday accommodation in any other part.

magnusson - I was under the same impression but there have been a number of posts all praising staying in Valletta.

I would agree with magnusson and hat especially if visiting in Summer but then this is just our opinion and some others loved being based in Valletta
