We have seen the Capital Coast Resort and Spa advertised on "On the Beach" website. It look good. Has anyone been there?

I have booked this hotel for August 2008 through lastminute.com.

Am unable to find much information about it on the website but from what i have found it looks absolutely gorgeous. As lastminute.com are reputable I thought I would take a chance.

I can't be sure about this but I have a feeling that it is in the process of being built. On the coast road between Paphos and Coral Bay there is a huge new hotel development which has been under construction for quite some time and the name of it really rings a bell to me.

My parents are leaving for Paphos next week so I will ask them to do some digging to see if it is the same place.

This is that resort next door to the Venus Beach and opposite Zaffron's restaurant.

It is still some way off being finished but August should be OK.

FYI there is no beach there !!!!

Well I sure hope it is open by then cause I've just booked to go too

If anyone goes before september 08, areview on here would be appreciated with as much actual detail concerning the accomodation and where it is near to as possible. many thanks

We have just booked to go to Capital Coast Resort and Spa for early Sep 2008 we have been told it was due to open in August but we have found out it is going to open in July now, this will be our forth visit to Cyprus in four years we saw this resort being built it was half finished in sep 2007.It is in a lovely part of cyprus if you like to relax and watch the world go by.

Can you tell me if it is near to kato paphos please or is it the other direction?

I stayed at the aloe hotel last year when i attended a wedding there but I felt that was a little way out.

We walked in the direction of the harbour but not as far as the kissos hotel.

I would love to get a bearing as to where the cap hotel and spa is so any info would be appreciated,

Debbie, if you thought the Aloe was a 'little way out' then you will find this resort is much further out and a little isolated from the main resort areas.

We passed the site today and they are still some way off completion - may struggle to be ready in August :(
