What Transfer Options do I have? |
|
train from airport stops at wynyard. just under $14. cab ride around $40 busses as in shuttle busses. can take a while as they stop at a few hotels on the way. cost around $15 i think. i would take the train.

Personal preference, I don't like negotiating luggage on the underground. There are shuttle buses just outside the (international) terminal that stop at the hotels. Step out of the terminal and turn right, you'll see the buses lined up. Inexpensive and much less than a taxi. Depending on traffic and stops before your hotel about 30 +/- minutes to the CBD.

check this site as previously mentioned, this option would go to many other hotels before your stop so it could take a while to get to the jamison(or you could check out the places you could have stayed at...lol) do not think there is a need to book....perhaps someone else can confirm this?

I caught the shuttle a couple of years ago, I hadn't booked and I just walked outside the arrivals area and the bus was waiting.

As it turns out, bus or taxi weren't great options for me as the world youth day congregation had roads pretty tied up throughout Sydney. I ended up taking the train which cost $14.20 from the airport to Wynyard. The hotel was just 2 minutes away but could be easily missed because I couldn't find any maps at the train station. Alls well though - so many thanks for the responses!
