Sydney Accomodation for 9 days |
|
Firstly welcome abroad Skyworld to TA, Regarding information within Sydney your best option is to look on www.wotif.com.au for an overview on what is available for your budget. This web site is excellent for understanding location/description and rates. There are some terrific apartments in Sydney which would suit your needs. Have a look at Quay West Apartments/ Medina Apartments/ Meriton Apartments and Mantra Apartments. www.mirvac.com.au - Quay West Check out wotif and see what you like and then get back to us for recommendations.

Thanks Elemmay for your quick response. I did check wotif.com, Apparently there is a long weekend between sept 28 - oct 7, so it's really hard to get a proper accomodation under 250$/night :(. The following are the one I checked so far: - Medina & Meriton, $360$/night average - Hyde Park Inn, can't check for the period I want from their website, seems quite cheap from wotif.com - Rydges: 1. Capitol square: around $220/night 2. World square: around $350/night So, the only choice I have now within my budget is the Capitol square, which from what i can see in the tripadvisor forum/review, is not that good. Right now, I will probably use the Rydges - World square, since I can get 10% off if i become their member (for free) which mean I will be paying around $315$/night, which is currently the cheapest (compared to other hotel/serviced apartment)

hi Have you thought about an apartment in Manly, lots to choose from and some are listed on wotif.com and some reviewed on tripadvisor. Prices will be cheaper outside of the city centre. Location wise you can catch the ferry into the CBD in 30 mins or the jetcat for a fast trip and you get the chance to visit the beach if the weather is warm. Lots of restaurants/shops/fish and chips and a few trendy bars/pubs, but close enough to site see in the CBD every day!

Yes Welcome Skyworld not quite abroad, but costs probably just as much to come from west to east as to fly to UK. check out www.seventeenapartments.citysearch.com.au Gladesville Motel on Victoria Rd. Gladesville - a ferry ride across the harbour from CBD. do not have a www. for iy.

hi, Have a look on www.sydneyservicedapartments.net they list all the apartments in Sydney and are excellent. I just used your dates on the Fraser Suites in Kent Street and you can get a studio for $230 or a 1 bedroom for $270AUD. I also did it again on The York Apartments and you have availability - studio for $190 or 1 bedroom for $220. Look on Sydney service apartment webpage and then also go directly to the apartment/hotel webpage. ie. www.yorkapartments.com.au www.frasersuites.com.au and so on ......good luck !
