Just wondering if anyone has any feedback on Floriana Villas in Cairns. Everything looks great on their website, but I'd love to hear from someone who's experienced their hospitality.

We have just had a news email from the B&B and Farmstay Association of Far North Queensland to say that sadly Floriana is no longer operating.

The Association's website is www.bnbnq.com.au and has about 80 members in and around Cairns, Daintree, Cape Tribulation, Cairns Highlands and down to Mission Beach.

I have followed up on this and it seems that they are still operating, not as a B&B, but holiday apartments.

Check the floriana reviews on this website, there are a couple from previous guests and this will help you to make a decsion

May have changed ownership, pretty sure I saw it up for sale in the newspaper a while back. Before that they were madly fixing the place up from the looks of it when driving past. The one negative, without having stayed there, is that although on the esplanade quite a walk to town. Looks nice though as an alternate from chain hotels.
