Hi, we are visiting Namibia next week and were wanting to know the best way to see the Skeleton Coast within our itinery. we don't have that long and are only staying in Swakopmund for two days before moving on to Erongo for two nights and then Huab for two as well.

Take a scenic flight. Or as I did, do the skydiving at Swakopmund.And a wonderful scenic flight over the coast,is included while you fly up to 10,000 feet ....before you freefall for 3,000 feet,...screaming your head off! And a great DVD included in the package. Guess what my kids are going to get in their Christmas stockings this year? | ||||||

Yep - couldn't agree more. The short flights along the coast are one of the best things I've done in Namibia. EG - Pleasure Flights have a couple of set routes - popular ones include the dunes at Sossusvlei and then back over the dune sea to the coast. Another is via Spitzkoppe, Ugab river (incredible landscape), and then back over Cape Cross. Driving the Skeleton Coast can be ...monotonous. Take the inland route and see the rock art at Twyfelfontain. Enjoy Huab | ||||||
