You have to fly to either Astana or Almaty and then catch a fiight to Aktobe. You will not find a direct flight to Aktobe. Air Astana is the one you will take and it is arround 270,000 tenge one way $250. Make sure you bring lots of things to entertain yourself! Not much to do!!!!! The best way to get there via Almaty, takes a little bit longer, but with a good service in Air-Astana flights. If you have a visa to Russia, you can via Moscow, but it's difiicult to connect the flight since it's not everyday flights. The other way to get there is via AKtau, but you will fly by small propeller plane from Aktau. In my opinion, the best Hotel is the Amsterdam Hotel, it has all kind of rooms from $100. For around $200 you can get a presidential suite. There are few restaurants in Aktobe. My favourits are Chindalle (korean), Teremok(russian), Amsterdam (european), Chinara (uzbek).
