I have some free time in December and would love to travel to central asia. I want to start from Tajikstan.

Is it a good time to go and is there much to see and do at this time of the year?

I would not advise you to come to Tajikistan in the winter. There might be electricity cuts, it is getting dark very early 5 p.m.There is not nmuch to see in Dushanbe anyway. The most popular tourist destination are the mountains. It is best to get there is form late spring till early autimn.
