Have you calculated traveling times into your itinerary? Regarding another question you had about booking, you should try to book before September. You can get somewhere like Fantastico Sur to book it all if you give them dates.

Thank you very much. I am trying to calculate the time on the road so that I would have the accurate dates for reservations. One additional question, is it safe for a woman to trek in Torres Del Paine on her own? As I am looking through the webpage, some people said it's totally fine and some said that you should never try to do it one person.

The issue of the safety of trekking alone, as you say, has supporters and detractors. It is a bit like the question of whether a city is safe. People who have had no problem say it is and those who lost a camera say it is not. I think trekking in TdP is safe enough on your own, but it is a lot better to have some sort of contact established with other trekkers. If you should run into a problem, fall for instance, it is obviously much better to have someone who can go for help near at hand. Usually you can informally join up with a group or another person for trekking. This can be as simple as letting other people on the trail know that you plan to be at x refugio for the night. Most people enjoy having at least a bit of sporadic company. I don't have time to check the bus schedules etc. right now but the itinerary on the 31st looks a bit complicated. I don't think you can do all that in the day but you may have checked and found you could.

To check the time tables for transportation, try the web site from the Journal Black Sheep. May be the information is from that last season, but the timetable usually does not change as te price :) The web site: http://www.patagoniablacksheep.com This paper is from Puerto Natales, Chile the place used as the begining for a trip to Las Torres del Paine
