Hi there, it is at least a 2 hour drive from Puerto Natales to the Park Entrance and there is nothing special about Puerto Natales either.

So my recomendation to you would be to stay in the park.

The view from Hosteria Pehoe is spectacular to say the least,much better than the one from Hosteria las Torres.At least have dinner on one evening at Hosteria Pehoe and appreciate the view.

The photo`s you see on many of the adverts about the park was taken from the Hosteria or close by with largo Pehoe in the foreground.

Just make sure you have enough gasoline in your car(if you have a rental car) for driving around in the park and making it back to Puerto Natales as there are no fueling station in the park and what ever fuel is available is ussaly reserved for park authorities and the vechiles of Hosteria las Torres.

Enjoy your stay in the most beautifull place in Patagonia Chile or Argentina.
