We only have 10 sleeps!

10 sleeps and we will be at the Mina A Salam can't wait

We arrive approx 9.30am in the morning fingers crossed at least one of our rooms will be ready and we can get our heads down for a couple of hours with the kids after our night flight. Otherwise it will be a wee dip in the pool and a lie down in the shade for a snooze. Anyway once we have refreshed ourselves a little we will be looking for a light late breakfast or early lunch to keep us going until we go for our evening meal which is booked for Go West in the JBH for 7.30pm.

Can anyone suggest somewhere in the souq we can go for this?

Room service which is always very decandent at the madinat hotels and they dont charge for it , also at al qasr they have an outside resturant near the pool, shimmers on the beach but the latter two may be two hot.

Thanks for that SLWatkins but would prefer to eat out of the room and start to get our bearings and explore the resort a bit. Shimmers does sound nice but was planning on going there for an evening during our stay. It is just really something quick and easy we are looking for thats why I wondered if there is anywhere in the souq.

id really play it by ear, you could eat on the sunlongers or see what is in the mina or walk a few yards to the rear of the al qasr pool where there is a resturant as well , also shimmers towards JBH is nice but i think anywhere on the first day is hard to deal with eating outside due to the intense heat, so id grab a cab and go to the marina by the GHH and get something for a lot less and then jump back in the cab back to the pool.

At the mina your right next to the souk through the back entrance and you will love it and find it easy to navigate, maybe the noodle house on the first day and im sure star bucks is in there somewhere maybe they will do some pastries etc.
