I've been robbed by a couple of blackjack dealers lately.

They are called one armed bandits for a reason. I've been robbed several times.

My 3rd trip to Vegas I went with 3 of my friends, 2 of which had never been to Vegas before, and the other one had been there once. None of them had been to Atlantic City before either, and I'd been there a handful of times by then, so I was the "casino expert" of the group.

We stayed at the Stratosphere. Tracy and I shared one room and Elaine and Prassanni stayed in one.

One morning Tracy and I woke up early and decided to go hit the casino. (Ok - really I woke up and threw pens, notepads and other nightstand contents at her until she woke up and then was like, "Oh, are you awake too? I'm hungry." Then when she refused to get up and break into Elaine/Prassanni's room to get my leftovers from the night before I helpfully listed people who WOULD go get me the food. By time that whole conversation was over she was awake.)

We got down to the casino and it was like 5am and the buffet didn't open until 6am, so we decided to gamble a little. After she got in a fight with the lady at the Promotions desk (she was 2 points short of a free hat or something stupid) we ate, then started gambling again.

I left to go play blackjack and she played penny slots. I turned my $40 into $80 at blackjack and headed to the cashier. As I approached the cashier I saw Tracy standing there. I was like hey, how's it going. Her response was, "It was going fine until a minute ago."

In my absence she had played various penny slots and finally decided to go back up to the room....when she saw the Texas Tea machine. She decided to throw a $100 bill in there and see what she could do. It was a 9 line 5 coin machine, so she hit max bet for what she thought was $0.45. But Tracy isn't used to drinking at 8am.....it was $45, which she promptly lost.

The reason she was standing there waiting was because the casino manager was on the way over. Right in front of me Tracy explained that she had thought it was a penny machine and could the manager do a "cash register over-ride" (her words) and refund the $45.

The casino manager said no.

At least Tracy just stormed off back to the room and didn't call 911!!

Lemme tell ya something--that casino where that guy was--I was there 2 years ago and I WOULD call 911 was sorely tempted I went thru about $300 in an hour on nickel slots-there were no pennies & I thought "this is gonna be a long nite" and no free drinks there either. I spent the majority of the day at the pool the next day. My cash was long gone. That Hard Rock Casino at Seminole--SUCKS. Don't bother.
