if you are then i think its a good idea for them and us players. lets face it we all eat, most buy something while there, and unless its just a day trip seeing a show is a great way to help slow down your losses on a bad day. I am all for it unless they slide something into the system that cuts back the already limited comps het rewards you with now. or if they see you do alot of shopping and dining replace your gambling related offers with dining and shopping promos?

I don't see this "points for what you spend" alone really adding much to their bottom line. I'm not going to buy candy at Ben & Jerry's (in Harrahs) at $7 for 1/4 pound (that is not a typo) when I can get it for $7 a pound (or less) on the boardwalk just because they also give me a couple RC's for it.

Same goes for merchandise. Most items you can get for much less elsewhere, so either I am too lazy to go elsewhere or I'm not..... Laziness will decide if I'm going to get it there, not a reward credit.

Of course, for shows, dining and other spending that I would normally do in the casino, this *sounds* good. But I don't see them as being that altruistic. This is just to distract us from something else they're going to cut.

Ambrva raises a good point about "what else HET might cut." Along those lines, I have noticed a decrease in monthly bonus cash. I'm not talking about the cash back that you earn playing, I'm talking about the money they give you once a month for just showing up.

So an informal poll: what is your monthly "free" cash back amount? Pick the HET property you play most at if necessary, or if you get it at more than one HET property please list each.

Let's see if my hunch is correct.

ACM

Mrs. Diamond gets between $100 and $300 a month and lowly me gets $10 to $20 a month...but then we do mostly play on her Diamond Card.

$25 (X2) Bally's, $20 (X2) Showboat and from $15 Taj (5 different single dates) and $20 Plaza on 4 single days. We played a LOT less at the Trump properties.

I'm not going to state how much I'm getting but I will say that my cash incentives from August to September dropped about 25%, meaning if I was getting $100 in August, I'm now getting $70 or $75 in Sept.

I think the cuts are coming - as long as they don't ditch my LFB/RFB (who knows?) I'm not too worried.

Does anyone know if I do my playing at Caesars, let's say, and then go to 6ix to eat, is that one trip or 2? How does that affect my ADT?

I went from $5 in real money to $10 in 'slot cash', if that helps your calculations any, ACM.
