hi guys!

I'm from Bicol, my family (we're 5, all adults) together with another family (6 including 3 kids) are planning to visit Cebu for 3 days & 2 nights on next month, nov. 3-5.

Can you pls help us plan our itinerary.. on where to go and what to visit?

Is there any affordable accomodations for us? Is staying in a pension be cheaper than staying in a hotel? I think it would be convenient to stay near the shopping centers. Am I right?

Any opinions or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Midtown Hotel in Cebu City is great I have stayed ther many times. My most recent trip was August 2005. My mother and father, my two kids, came along with my wife and I. There is a mall in the Midtown hotel, a pool and it is close to most attractions. Places to see are: Fort San Pedro, Magellens's cross, the Mactan shrine, and any one of the nice sandy beaches. Shopping can be done at Ayala, and SM malls, you will find it all. I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota USA. My parents are retirement age and had never left the USA before, they are from Fargo, North Dakota USA. They both loved it very much and felt safe and welcome by all our friends and family(my wife is Filipina)! I have visited 5 times now and explored many of the Islands, I love it! I am so confident that Cebu is safe that I even allowed my 16 year old daughter go with friends alone shopping. Jason Harveland
