I'm by no means an expert on Puerto Rico, but I spent a week in Aguadilla in October. The two hotels closest to the airport are IHP El Faro, and La Cima, with El Faro being the closest. The Marriott has had delays in opening, and are not open yet. I would also recommend calling the hotel direct instead of booking thru a website, especially with your 2 a.m. arrival.

I appreciate the help. This will be our 3rd year going to Rincon, but we've always been able to get into our rental previously even at the insane hours we arrive. Our trip isn't until March, so maybe the Marriott will be open then. Knowing what's near to the airport is quite helpful. We've only been in Aguadilla in the very late night, or early dawn hours in transit.

I would say El Faro also. It is just a few minutes from the airport. I know it is hard to land in Aguadilla since most of those flights land so late in the evening. They have a few guest houses also close by, but I would say El Faro is a good bet. It overlooks the beach known as the Crashboat. Have fun!

I fly into Aguadilla from Ft. Lauderdale on Spirit Airlines, and their flight arrives there at 4:30 in the afternoon. Return flight leaves Aguadilla at 5 pm. I believe Jet Blue has the late arrivals and departures. Their fares are similar. You might want to check on that.

We fly from Newark, which gives us no option but the late arrival. The proximity of El Faro sounds good.

Can't wait to get to Rincon!
