“The best hotel ever”

The Prince Park Tower Tokyo

5 of 5 stars
Montreal, Canada
Feb 24, 2008

This is a fantastic hotel. It really exceeded my expectations. The staff was wonderful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. I didn't expect such service since I booked with Expedia. I highly recommend paying extra for a Premium room because the Sky Buffet Breakfast is outstanding and you get a complimentary bottle of Champagne every night. I love this hotel and I can't wait to go back. I have stayed in many hotels in this is my all-time favorite. The location is also very convenient.

“Impeccable service with understated elegant architectural gem”

The Prince Park Tower Tokyo

The U.S. has a lot to learn when it comes to flawless customer service. The staff at Park Prince showed us just that. They pay attention to every little detail and everyone always has a smile on their face. They even have someone dressed in a japanese kimono to press the elevator button and bows until the door is closed. Wow.

The room was spacious and very clean. Nice bathroom and tub and separate toilet. One bad thing about the toilet is that you kind of get attached to it. How I wish we have heated toilet seats here with built-in bidet.

The hotel is easily accessible by Limousine Bus from Narita Airport. The cost was 3000 yen and they drop you off at the hotel. The Oedo subway line is a 2 minute walk.

What a great find!

“Not for people under 25”

The Prince Park Tower Tokyo

It's a beautiful hotel with a beautiful view...but ,if you're under 25 you can't use the gym, the hot spring, or even the pool. Sadly, they don't advertise this on their website. The sole reason I picked this hotel over the others offered was all the extras it had to offer. Unfortunately, my son that was traveling with me is only 20 and couldn't use any of them. It was very disappointing to say the least.

The rooms were beautiful and clean. The tub was heaven, especially after a long day of sightseeing...(although the hot springs probably would have been nicer.)

The staff was very stuffy and we had several problems finding someone that understood English well. I think they cater mostly to businessmen and conferences and really don't care about regular tourists.

The other hotel I had stayed at in Tokyo in March was much more tourist friendly.

“Elegant, well-equipped hotel in great location - GREAT VALUE”

The Prince Park Tower Tokyo

5 of 5 stars
New York City

I stayed at this hotel in Nov 2007 on business. i was suspicious at first b/c it was so inexpensive (approx $200 night) compared to the other hotels i considered (Park Hyatt, Grand Hyatt at $1000 a night!!!).

surprise, surprise. the hotel was spacious, elegant , modern and well equipped. not luxurious but really just fine. i am from NYC and have stayed at some pimped up places around the world and really, this is just fine. the internet worked without a problem (key for me) and the bathroom has almost as much square footage as the bedroom. marble bathroom with separate shower and tub. separate WC. spacious vanities and decent amentities (no name brand toiletries but fine).

the hotel is huge and has multiple banquet /conference areas. it is centrally located so a 7 minute cab ride to roppongi hills. farther to Shinjuku (maybe 20 min?). the breakfast buffet at the top floor is decently priced (3600 yen approx) but the food was very good, fresh and had a great variety of things for the western and japanese palatte.

the gym was decent. on the smaller side but the equipment was new and the locker room was very nice. i had to pay extra (i think 2000 yen a day) but whatever. didnt use the pool but i hear its nice.

i think this hotel is not considered "hip" and "cool" which accounts for the lower price. the restaurants are not that great but you dont need to eat there. roppongi hills is close by. they have a well stocked convenience store that is open late and has an amazing bakery that is great for a snack or breakfast on the go (delicious breads).

i would definitely stay again. overall, a fantastic value.

and PS, i took a private cab from Narita to the hotel which cost me 25000 yen approx. i hear its better to take a limosine bus to any of the close hotels in roppongi (it doesnt need to have an exact stop at this hotel) and then take a cab.
