I used to live in Tokyo so I didn't really want to stay in a hotel now that I was going back as a tourist.
I came accross this aparment from reading review on Trip Advisor.
You can book it through some online travel sites but if you contact Oakwood directly you can get a cheaper rate.
The place was easier to find and closer to Shinjuku station than first thought. It is an impecable , modern block of apartments mostly for foreign business man and there family, so you are expected to behave corretly.
The staff speak excelent english. There is a nice lounge, one with sofas, the other looks more like a cafe with 2 PCs hooked up to the internet. There is also a Gym with a Sento and even a music room! Let's not forget the piano bar on the top floor.
The apartment was small but ultra-modern. You can fill your bath remotely just by the touch of a botton. The bath has also a self dry option and can dry your wet clothes too.
There is all you need, equipped kitchen, big flat screen, all very modern. Just not much room to move.
Finally, our room was overlooking both shinjuku and okubo station so you a constant background noise that stops only for a couple of hours at night. That's Tokyo for you!
Great place if you are traveling alone ! Specially for business.
