I paid Euro 65 so I guess it wont be fair to expect the moon. Clean rooms, a 3 minute walk to the airport, the rooms were in good condition, the staff were helpful and organised an airport drop twice for us with never any complaints. A very decent restaurant and clean bathrooms equipped with the basics. I thought I got more than what I paid for,

I arrived and was first told that I didn't have a reservation. When I produced a copy of the fax from my company showing confirmation, I was told they had no rooms. Then the clerk offered to put me in the Etap (a budget "sister" hotel that is in the same building as the Ibis). I told him that was not ok.

Then the manager arrived and, after some checking on the computer, he told me they did, in fact, have a room for me. I was given a key and went upstairs... only to find someone asleep in the bed (all I saw was naked legs dand feet). I quickly made a very quiet exit, and went downstairs to the front desk. I was then given another room, which was not already occupied.

Upset from all the stress, I headed to the bar for a beer. While sitting there, I saw a man who checked in immediately after me come back to the front desk (second time) to complain that the key he was given would not unlock the door. The front desk clerk (after my experience) double checked and discovered that his room was also already taken, and the man was given a different room (and key).

Breakfast is ok, and it is a convenient ~7min walk from the airport... but be sure you block your door with your suitcase at night!

I stayed here while attending a conference and was very pleasantly surprised. I was reluctant to stay in an airport hotel but it was actually very nice. Debating between a luxury hotel three times the price and just staying at a 2-star hotel, I was glad I stayed at Ibis. There is a small bar in the lobby, the staff were very nice and the hotel is very clean. My room had two single beds, bathroom and small closet space. The bed was comfortable and for being next to the airport it was very quiet. The conference was held in the hotel and they provided fresh fruit, coffee, tea and mineral water during the day. The lunch and breakfast at the hotel was also very good. There is a terrace off of the restaurant so you can eat breakfast outside if you like. So if you are spending little time in the hotel room, I recommend this hotel for a short stay or if you want to save money while traveling to Luxembourg. If you arrive too late (after 11pm) the hotel shuttle may not be available and you might have to walk to the hotel (5 minute walk). My only complaint is having to walk with my bags to the hotel at night - it's a short walk. Overall good experience.
