I had a Christmas function their and the scenery and atmosphere is beautiful, perfectly breathtaking. The setup of the area was to perfection. The room was clean and very comfortable.
The Staff at the Front Desk and Ancillary Staff was helpful and efficient. The trips to Lime Cay was Great!!!!

We booked in advance and I was so disappointed when it was time for the Buffet to be served, the food was cold, and the servings so small. We book for 90 persons and only 68 turned up and still most of the food was finish before the first servings.

Lots of patrons finish eating and still was not served a drink, or even water.
I am truly disappointed because I had expected better service from the fact that we booked and made prior arrangements.
I would not use them for a large function again.

We booked this hotel on the advice of our hotelier the previous year. He always stayed there on arrival in Jamaica to avoid having to drive home to Port Antonio in the dark.
We booked 2 nights so we could meet up with friends in Kingston.
The hotel provided a complimentary transfer from the airport & within an hour of landing we were in our comfortable spacious room.We loved everything about it - sitting at the quayside restaurant, eating lobster salad, watching egrets fishing and the lights of Kingston across the harbour.
Wandering around historic Port Royal the next morning. Swimming at Lime Cay - looks like it could be fun at weekends, with food bars set up. In the week, it was sleepy and relaxed.
Next visit, will book it to end our holiday too!

I had missed my flight and Air Jamacia directed me there.. all of the cab driver's noted to me that it was a good hotel but it was expensive... When they told me that I would have to pay about $130 to 150 US, I was elated.. SO I took it when I got there the hotel was great.

The service from the front dest to the resturant, was excellent.

I most espically appreciate that the cable in the room carried the Bahamian channel ZNS 13 and Cable News Bahamas 12, I felt so much at home..

I will return and stay there...

Really nice hotel. Great spacious and clean room with good decor. Good
pool... on the harbour where you can catch the boat to the Lime Cay isle (great beach)... walking distance to Port Royal Historial area (amazing fish cafes and cheap local shop) Other than that it's fairly remote from other things to do. But peaceful.

Hotel food is very poor quality - best to walk down the road (its very
safe) down a few block for fish at Glorias. What am annoyed at is
the "energy charge" of $70+ dollars that was tagged onto my bill. I've
stayed in all the hotels in JA an never have been stung like this. The
other issue I had was I had 'held" a card at the hotel so I could have
room charging ability. This card has been charged $200 without my authorization. I am now having to dispute this! But in the meantime I am 'out' $200 until they release this hold! Not good business practice.

I much prefer Altamont hotel in New Kingston. The rooms may not be as pretty or as large but much more central and decent with their accounting.
