A very compact area of the island. Tons of resorts, bars, restaurants, shopping, things to do, and things to see. The marina is located in the center with the hotels lining the beaches. There are many options of places to eat. I found Chic at the Royal to be very overpriced with small portions, the Tandoori grill to be tasty but the waiter forgot about us when big spendors came in, Memories of Hong Kong to be very delicious, L'Epicure at the Royal to be a little overpriced and service to be below average. Overall, it's the place to stay in St. Lucia. We went in January where all the tourists were over 40 and mostly European.
