We visited Almond Bay Resort in October and found it to be nicer than I had expected. I made the mistake of reading all the other reviews and think some are from ugly Americans. (I am American) I found the food to be exceptional in taste and the presentations was like a work of art. The help was great and the drinks wonderful, not watered down like some resorts. We had a great location for our room and expected to be kept awake by the music, but was not. I left my camera on one of the tour vans and the porter went way beyond what was nomal to retrieve it. I would go again as soon as I can work it in my schedule. I met some great Brits and a wonderful couple from Canada. Not many Americans. What problems I had, when to eat, when to swim and which restaurant to eat at!!!!!!!! We paid more for an all inclusive resort on the Playa del Camen in Mexico and the food was much better at Almond Bay.

Friday night is a fantastic night out to see the real night life in St lucia,were you feel extremly safe. Join in with the locals and dance the night away. I have been many many times and would recomended you take a look.

Having just been on my first trip to the caribbean I have discovered how laid back the people are. The hotel was good with very good facilities. The food was good with plenty of choice. It was my daughters favourite holiday and we have been to many places around the world. The only problem was the staffs laid back attitude when something was wrong. They would smile and say ok and then nothing would happen for another hour.
