“Absolutely the BEST place to stay!!!”

We have been to various islands in the Carribean, but this was by far the most fun we have ever had on a vacation. At first, we were unsure of the location, but I must say, this was the best decision we could have made. Seven-mile beach was over-rated and boring, but TNI was located perfectly in the middle of the island. We were able to hit up the snorkeling spots in West Bay (Cemetary Beach is the best in the AM) and Rum Point in just 30 minutes. The staff at TNI was terrific and the owners were always around and helpful. Our condo was perfectly equipped with everything (dishes, detergents, linens, soaps/bathroom supplies, etc.). The only thing we needed to provide was the food and clothes for the trip. Definitely hit up the grocery store and take advantage of the full kitchen and grill near the pool. We also visited the jerk stands and the Seaside Paradise Cafe (right down the beach) for cheap eats. The Thursday night dinner was very enjoyable, as we had an excellent meal and met some wonderful guests. We would also recommend eating at the Lighthouse (look for the coupon for 10% off in the activity book). I was concerned about driving prior to arriving, but it ended up being a blast. The car was small, but efficient, and the driving was very easy. Just a FYI...the snorkeling is best in the west bay area, but the Rum Point Beach is great to layout and swim (just get there before the tours come at 10:30).

Overall, a fantastic vacation and we are already planning our return trip!

This was the first 1 week stay on our 2 week trip. Our company was paying for the second week at the Ritz which was fabulous. But when we look back on this trip our most fond memories will be of our "home" at the Turtle Nest. It was a quaint hideaway with incredible staff. It was also the perfect location from which to get out and explore the island. Having stayed at seven mile beach and at the Turtle Nest, I can honestly say that they are both paradise. It's just that one costs 5 times the money!

This is a lovely place to stay. The condos are beautifully decorated with bright colors and island designs. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The location is excellent for snorkeling and beach sitting, and they have a kayak you can use for free to explore up and down the coast. It's quiet and away from the overcrowded 7 mile beach. We really enjoyed our time here - happy and relaxing.

“Relaxation and Adventure”

A combination of East Coast cold weather and the stresses of life sent my husband and I looking for a quick getaway to a quiet warm place. We found the Turtle Nest Inn through Trip Advisor and it sounded too good to be true -- but it was! We got a very good deal on 4 night/5 day stay which included a rental car and had exactly the kind of experience we were looking for.

A rental car awaited us at the easily maneuverable airport and we were on our way to Bodden Town. Driving on the left side of the road was a little scary, but we got to Turtle Nest Inn within the hour (after a stop at the local supermarket for supplies). When we got to the Inn, we were greeted by Alain, one of the owners, who showed us to our room and gave us the lay of the land. We were given cold drinks and made to feel welcome by the staff.

Our one bedroom room in the inn had everything we needed. There was also a much referred to guide to sites and restaurants -- with suggestions for good but not too pricey places and places where mentioning TNI gave us 10% off the bill.

This was just the kind of place we were looking for. I'm sure the hotels in 5 mile beach are great, but we wanted to experience the island. Every day we took a new excursion to a different part of the island and tried to have lunch in a "local" spot. Since it was a vacation and I didn't want to cook, we had lunch and dinner out, but it was nice to wake up and make breakfast in our room before we went down to the pool or out for an adventure.

The owners and staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Our room and Inn were definitely clean. My only problem was a queen bed as I'm used to a king, but that aside, everything was perfect.

If you want a place that you can use as a home base and go out and experience Grand Cayman Island, this is a great place to come home to.

My husband and I have just returned from a week at the turtle Nest Inn. In the past few years we have been very disappointed with facilities that we booked online- but not this time. The turtle Nest Inn was everything and more. Upon arrival we were greeted and welcomed by name, personal service by warm friendly staff and owners of the Inn, always willing to assist and answer any questions that we had.
The snorkeling right off the Inn's beach was superb and we didn't miss a day!!!
Our apartment was on the 1st floor and was well equipped. we cooked most of our meals and enjoyed our evenings reading and watching TV. The grill at the pool was great, very convenient!!!
What a fabulous place to relax and unwind before returning to the vacation season on Hatteras Island where we live!!!
The owners and staff have a special place in our hearts!!!
