Just returned last night from two weeks at Casa Candiles in Ixtapa. This is a lovely, adults only 3 suite hotel that really is Ixtapa's best kept secret. Since making our first inquiries we both had the feeling that this must be too good to be true but upon our arrival we discovered that everything was as least as good as, if not better and more beautiful than promised. The home, grounds and pool are all impeccably kept and the Innkeeper's attention to detail is impressive. You are made to feel that you are a guest in a very special home. Nothing seems to be too much trouble and all requests are taken care of quickly. If anyone is looking for a beautiful, adults only spot within walking distance of the Ixtapa hotel strip I would highly recommend Posada Casa Candiles. I know that we will be returning.
