This elegant yet reasonably priced seven room boutique hotel has become my #1 destination in Mexico. Bucerias is a gem of a small beach town only a $20 cab ride (or $1 bus ride) north of Puerto Vallarta, and this hotel is a beautiful jewel box right on the beach. The Fords (married couple from the Seattle area) are extremely gracious and helpful hosts. If you want to escape the bustle of city life in Puerto Vallarta and just groove on the beach, the sunsets and the charms of this friendly little town, this is the place to stay.
