“Perfect Honeymoon Location!”

Le Blanc Spa Resort

My husband and I went to Le Blanc for our honeymoon and we loved every second of it! The pool and beach were incredible! All the staff were so attentive -- the second we got down to the beach each morning, someone was there waiting for us with towels and beach umbrellas, shortly followed by a cocktail waitress to serve us drinks. Our butler and front desk staff were also all extremely nice.

The restaurants and food (any type of food you could want) was fantastic. Easily ten times better than what I anticipated at an all-inclusive resort. I was very impressed by the wait staff, as they really paid attention to every single detail and protocol possible. The breakfast buffet was great -- probably the reason that I gained 5 pounds over the course of the week...

We also absolutely loved the fact that this was an adults only hotel. After we wandered around some of the other hotels in Cancun and saw kids running all over the place, it made us appreciate Le Blanc even more.

I would highly, highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Cancun. I can't wait to go back!!!

This was my second visit to LeBlanc (also visited in April 2007). I have taken a group of 20 couples each year and we all think the hotel is just terrific. The hotel is immaculate, nice sugar sand beach that is well cared for each day. The staff are really the stars - I don't usually love all-inclusives but the staff at Le Blanc treat you as a 5 Star hotel would, going out of their way to see to your every need. The rooms are well apportioned with lots of fluffy towels, robes, slippers, liquor, beer, wine and sodas as well as snacks(and lots of it). There are two large pools with swim-up bars and snack-bars as well as a smaller, more initimate pool and a separate hot tub. Plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas, all straightened each night. Plenty of beach/pool towels, cool cloths, cold bottled water, etc. You don't even have to ask. The food is very good and plentiful. There aren't many on-site activites other than the pools and beach but hey who wants to play inside in Cancun. There is a good size gym with all the latest workout machines, weights, etc and if cost is no option there is a worldclass day-spa.

I'm not a pushover and travel frequently so I have fairly high expectations and I can find nothing bad to say about Le Blanc. I will be back in 2009 with another group of 20 couples.

My husband and I just returned from staying at Le Blanc Resort last night. We had been to Mexico before and stayed at the Paradisus [Royal Service plan] with our older kids on Riviera Maya and wanted to check out Cancun Hotel Zone. Lets start with the resort. It was quite simply amazing! When you first get there , unless this is your decorative taste, you will notice how "Zen-like" it is--very minimalist and quite unlike the rich colors and deep wood decor of other Mexican places. We weren't sure if we liked it at first but then you get to your room there was somthing amazinglyy subliminal going on that is clean, calming and tranquil along with also having all the amenities you could want including each floors own butler!! The only drawback to the rooms was, for us, not too many with real walk-out balconies but there are some there so be sure to ask. Now for the truly amazing---the staff and the service! I come from a very wealthy area in lower CT and know what good service and good food is and Le Blanc exceeded our expectations at every turn! The Mexican people are the lovliest that we have ever encountered on vacation--hands-down! The service was beyond words --The pools and the beach were beautiful though the surf was rough during our stay and there was a stong undertow so swimming was a bit difficult but a great walking beach with great waves!! The only downer was the disco across the street playing music until the wee hours in the morning--we did hear it but if you know ahead of time you can request a room facing the main pool/ocean side and you won't hear it, I'll bet. That is the part about being in the main hotel zone that, if you have never been to Cancun before, you should understand--you are definitely not alone!!! There are many, many plusses to that with good restaurants, nightclubs and shopping nearby . The beauty was that once you are in the resort you could forget that the rest of the strip is there and all the outside activity that goes with it-seriously--its that good!! It is an all-inclusive and we have done several of them before with only one other that had what I would call 'excellent' food[Grand Lido , Negril] but this food was tremendous and is a huge plus for us as we are foodie people. I cook and have high standards for food. If you want to go to Cancun you should definitely go here! It is an adults -only resort and it is kind of quiet --no crazy shows and things that other AI's tend to have but all you have to do is walk out the door and go in any direction for that. I found the 'less is more' kind of thing really refreshing and a respite from the livelness of Cancun proper. I love Mexico for 2 reasons--the people who take care of us are amazingly gracious, sweet and appreciative and the beaches are gorgeous. That's what we look for. As an aside, we have not gotten sick like some people claim about Mexico travel but I would suggest that you have to choose places with their own treated water source [and most of the good places do] and that you be smart about what you eat/drink outside of the resort. Caution is needed but is not an obstruction to the many wonderful benefits of traveling there.

“Perfect Honeymoon Experience!!!!!!!!”

Le Blanc Spa Resort

We absolutely loved the eight days we spent at this resort. It was the ultimate all-inclusive experience and we are sitting at home wishing we could go back right now!! They were extremely accomodating to every need.

FOOD - My wife has a food allergy and they actually had ingredients brought over from another resort when they ran out during breakfast one morning. We are very high-maintainance diners and were extremely happy with the quality of all the food we were served. The sommolier actually introduced us to a few new wines we loved as well.

STAFF - The resort staff was amazing and jumped at every opportunity to serve. We always felt welcome and were warmly greeted everywhere we went. Make sure to have the butler draw up a jacuzzi for you while you are at dinner and have a bottle of champagne waiting.

ACCOMODATIONS - The room and views were outstanding and extremely comfortable. Dual head showers and wall jets made even showering enjoyable.

POOLS/BEACH - The pools were all extremely beautiful and Le Blanc may have the best beach in Cancun. Many of the surrounding resorts had terrible beaches, if they had one at all.

ALL-INCLUSIVE - This is no joke, you will not be surprised by little charges here and there. Even some of the spa experiences are included. My wife took advantage of free semi-private pilates and spinning classes at the state-of-the-art gym.

DAY TRIPS - Take advantage of the included tours! You will not get nickel and dimed. We had a blast on the Isla Mujeres tour and we swam with dolphins at Dolphin Discovery on the island which our concierge arranged for us when we arrived.

This resort is a great place to be if you enjoy a relaxing laid back atmosphere and getting pampered. There are plenty of bars and nightlife to enjoy in Cancun, but having a nice quiet place to go at the end of the night makes the day complete.

You can't go wrong here. Book it today. We are already planning our trip back next year!

“very nice hotel”

This is the second review which I am writing since I started my week off at Sun Palace first. Le Blanc is a very nice hotel. Check-in was a breeze and we appreciated the coconut milk and wet towels at check-in. Our room was lovely and the staff quite attentive. We really did not utilize the butler service since we did all our own packing and unpacking. Everyone in the hotel was quick to take care of whatever you wanted. The grounds themselves were marvolous. We loved the tiki huts, especially the one down by the lagoon. The lagoon was lovely and we loved seeing the different wild life that were there. I found the food to be very good but my husband was not too impressed. I was a little disappointed about their wine selection. My reading the reviews posted previously indicated that you could get wines from around the world with no problem. I found it was difficult at times to get California which we drink and were sometimes forced to drink Argentinian or Chilian wines which we do not care for very much. The pools were lovely, but since there are a lot of conventions at this hotel, the tranquility pool we found to be quite crowded so we either hung out at the pool by the lagoon or the pool on the third floor. I would definitely return to this hotel. I found it to be quite classy and we loved the music playing around the hotel, not too loud and just great background music. Great band and lovely harpist, pianist in the bar area. Very relaxing vacation. Hated to leave!
