This was a wonderful day!! We really enjoyed the Dolphin Swim -- it was much better than the one we did in Jamaica. We loved the belly ride and the foot push while riding a boogie board. People of all ages will enjoy this. We spent the afternoon going on the water slides. The park was really clean and nice.

We had a great time with the dolphins. We got to ride on their fins, and they pushed us up like on water skis with their noses. Only complaint is that the water is very cold. The waterpark was great to play around in also while you are there. I loved the water slides. A little pricey though for the dolphins but well worth it. We did the royal swim for $139 each. They allowed my mom to just watch us do this tour and she didn't have to pay to enter the park since she assured them she wasn't swimming. They don't allow you to take your own pictures b/c they want you to buy their pictures...which we did of course buy for $12 per picture. Negotiate as best as you can, but try to negotiate in pesos, we negotiated for $90 for 10 pictures but then they charged our card in pesos and they applied some bogus exchange rate of 1085 pesos which is really more like $108 and not $90 but they claimed that was the rate at the bank that day. So my advice is to negotiate in pesos. There's free lockers to put your stuff in.

I went there with some friends about 3 months ago. At the begining we thought it was a place for children; but when we take a look to the activities and to the park, we found a very nice place.

The swim adventure was great, but we should paid for the royal swim, it was the best program with the dolphins; anyway, the next time we go to Sea Life Park Vallarta, we will book the Royal Swim.

I really recomend this place and the dolphin swimming, it's an excellent experience.

A new company has taken over the former Splash water park.The company has six parks from Aruba to Hawaii and one in Cancun-which is temporarily closed due to ther storm-it is now called Dolphin Discovery but the taxis will remember the former name. As a resident of nearby Bucerias with children I have some good news.The former management had poor maintenance and a poor dolphin facility but the new company has fixed it up dramatically including a massive dolphin swim operation and new restaurants. Also the waterpark admission includes a dolphin-sea lion and tropical bird show thats really entertaining. The price is around eighteen dollars for adults and fifteen for kids-you can find the exact prices and maps in the bucerias mexico site and great pictures- I must tell you you cannot bring in food and drinks like before but the park is much cleaner for that reason.
