Both the included breakfast and the optional full breakfast were excellent. During the beginning of our stay, the proprietors were away on vacation, and a wonderfully friendly couple substituted for them. The proprietors were also extremely friendly and accommodating. Our room had a delightful view, and it was immaculate, private and comfortable (Iuxurious, even!). The house itself was designed by John Wood the Elder, who designed a great deal of Bath's beautiful streets and buildings.

Bathford is lovely - there's a great pub right down the street from Eagle House, and getting into Bath is simple and fast on the bus.

We loved our stay at Eagle House and found it worth every penny.

Very lovely B&B. We stayed there with our 2 small children and they were very accomodating. Big room for 4 of us and yummy breakfast. Would recommend.

A long weekend to recharge our batteries was required.
Eagle House proved to do the job, with John and Rosamund and their efficient team, on hand to provide a friendly and welcoming stay. The breakfasts were superb and nothing was too much trouble, the whole atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable. Eagle House is a beautiful and fascinating building with a lovely garden (complete with Rabbit!!) and really convenient for Bath and lots of lovely walks. Just what we needed thank you all!!! n &j R

We stayed at Eagle House for one night when visiting Bath for a friends wedding in the city. We were greeted with a warm welcome by both the owner and the rabbit who was hopping around the garden and eating the wild strawberries!
Our room was very homely and spacious and had a lovely view out over the delightful garden and surrounding countryside.The decor was absolutely charming and we instantly felt very relaxed. When we returned from the wedding reception late in the evening a flask of fresh milk had been left in the hallway for us so that we could make tea in our room, a really lovely touch. Breakfast was served in a beautiful georgian dining room and all produce was of a very high standard and quality....very enjoyable. The house is situated in a charming village location along a road lined with pretty Bath stone cottages. This is a delightful family run business that offers the visitor a chance to stay in a traditional country home that truly encompasses the rural idle of life in the Bath countryside. As an ex-resident of Bath I highly recommend a stay here, I only wish we could have stayed longer but I would definitely choose to stay here again. This still remains one of my favourite B&B stays.
