we would like to thank janis and chris for a wonderful time, it was our first visit to northen wales and janis and chris did everything they could to make it a speical one. the extremely freindly outlook to everyone was most welcoming and the information they had on things to and do see where just as informative as the information tourist boards themselfs. there house was very clean and spacious and the breakfast was wonderful. i would also like to thank them for returning grahams fishing hat, that was very thoughtful and we hope to visiting wales again and soon. i really hope that they can accommadate us again in the future.

Jan and Chris were the perfect hosts - friendly, helpful and generous. Whinward House is a great base for exploring North Wales and we wanted for nothing. The rooms were very comfortable and the check out time was most civilised and we could come and go as we pleased. Personal touches such as fresh milk made this without doubt our best ever stay in North Wales. Our first of hopefully many visits - when we left it felt like leaving old friends!

We just returned from our all-too short stay with Janis and Chris Ward at Whinward House. It is a lovely, comfortable house in a beautiful neighborhood and served as a great base to explore Conwy and surrounding areas. Conwy is a beautiful town with the awesome castle dominating over all. Janis and Chris were wonderful - sharing stories and offering their home as "our home." The breakfast was cooked to order and delicious, served in their gracious dining room. Everything was just excellent. We traveled with my brother and sister-in-law and we all agreed on the outstanding experience - both rooms were roomy, quiet and comfortable. Thank you Janis and Chris! We hope to make it back to Conwy again and visit.

Thank you to Chris & Janis for making us feel very welcome on our recent visit to North Wales.
The rooms are more than comfortable and they truely are only 10 minutes walk from the town walls of Conwy. The guest lounge room has some great artwork of Janis'. Chris gave us some great suggestions of Restaurants for dinner.
The breakfast menu in welsh almost threw the Aussie with us! Thankfully Chris and Janis provided us with a translation into English. The breakfast was so yummy, they were right when they said we wouldn't need to eat all day!
Thank you once again for a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

We spent one night (Sept 20) with Janis & Chris at their B & B. The rooms were spacious, clean and well-equipped.
Janis could not have been more helpful. She recommended a nearby pub for dinner and had a map prepared for us to follow. After we returned from dinner we visited with her in the lounge and she told us about points of interest in the area.
Breakfast in the morning was generous and beautifully served on china and crystal.
All in all at delightful experience.
