We stayed at Aslar Guest House on a four day golfing trip to St. Andrews. The location is great as it is within walking distance to the main street in St Andrews, the castle and the ruins as well as the 18th hole on the Old Course. But best of all is the service and the exceptional breakfasts. They took care of our golf clubs so we didn't have to take them to our rooms and made good recommendations for places to eat where the locals ate. The variety and volume of food choices for breakfast were unbelievable-and the fresh berries were especially delicious. We have stayed in many fine B & Bs but this was simple the very best.

Only stayed there one night. I only wish I had stayed there longer. The owners are so friendly and really fun to talk to. I will most definately be back and will recommend to fiends!!!!!

My husband and I stayed in St Andrews for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Aslar. The staff were warm, friendly and attentive, the rooms were spotlessly clean, very comfortable and so elegant. A good, tasty selection was offered at breakfast, from healthy fresh fruit, nuts, porridge, to smoked salmon or fully cooked (not the usual greasy) breakfast. We will certainly be going back to stay at the Aslar on our next trip to St Andrew and would 100% recommend it.

My son and I stayed here for two nights in March while we were touring the UK interviewing at universities. We had a great experience. The room was large, immaculate and very comfortable. The food was excellent. Stan and Mary were great hosts, very kind and attentive. It could not have been better.
