We stayed for six nights in total.

We moved room, because the shower/toilet were damaged, also giant cobwebs in the corner of the bedroom.

The first room at the rear of the hotel, was noisey at night and early morning (deliveries, noise from another bar, people laughing & shouting)

The second room was at the side of the hotel, the noise from the main road (leading to O'Connell Street) could be heard.

With both rooms the flushing of toilets in adjacent rooms sounded like someone was using your toilet (they seemed to share a joint system).

On the plus side, the room was cleaned daily, the staff were pleasant and helpful, the food in the bar was excellent and great value.

Drinks a little on the expensive side.

Good location for all Dublin's central attractions within easy walking distance.

I would reate the staff and service at Cassidy's as one of the very best accommodations I have stayed in all over Europe and Aust.

I have recently spent 6 weeks in Europe and when I arrived at Cassidy's it was so nice to have extremely friendly and helpful staff and a room that was fresh looking and a really decent size for a single.

All staff have put Dublin as one of my favourite places in Europe.

Thank you very much for making my stay so enjoyable and relaxing.

I stayed here for a 3 night break with my 21 year old son.
Good points:
* Extremely comfortable beds
* excellent location at top end of O'Connell Street- great for all the Writers Museum etc ,wonderful Chapter House Restaurant, and airport and touring bus stops
* pleasant receptionist who let us use hotel internet before leaving for the airport, hours afte we had checked out
Not so good points:
* shabby decor in room and esp. bathroom- grouting was black in places, shower fitting was hanging off the wall and hole in tiles where toilet handle was situated was stuffed with paper !
* Not so pleasant receptionist who couldnt be bothered checking for us when 'Riverdance' started and suggested we went to theTourist Office...
* chambermaid who clearly had used our loo !!

Great location for the tourist routes, Croke Park & shopping. Staff were friendly & very helpful (although if you spoke Polish you would get even better service!). Our room was first class, although our neighbours were not, arriving back at 4am a little worse for wear! However, you could get that anywhere & they were thrown out after a short while later by the staff.
