“Lovely Hotel but reception could have been better”

This hotel is lovely and in a fantastic location as O'Connell Street is just around the corner and its really close to lots of cafes and shops and easy access to public transport.
The hotel rooms are very clean and have everything you need including a great shower.
The reception were great with checking in and out but when we asked for a taxi to be ordered for us one night we were rung back up as the foreign man on the desk did not understand what we asked for?? we waited 40 minutes and we asked again, we were then told to go and wait in reception for it which we did but apparantly they were struggling to get one for us even though we could clearly see lots passing by the hotel entrance!!! All in all it took well over an hour to get a taxi!
The next day we asked them to book us onto the ghost bus tour,we waited an hour before ringing them back down, they told us the phone lines for that were closed as it was a sunday so they told us where to go to get the bus(you can pay on the bus too as long as its not fully booked) and to turn up at 7.45pm as the tour started at 8pm, turned out the tour started at 7pm and we missed it!!! We were not in the least bit happy at this!
I don't think having foreign workers at reception helped, its fine if they know what they are doing and can speak English!!
All in all (after all that moaning!!) I would go back because of the location and price :)

“Good Value for the Money”

Jurys Inn Parnell Street

Two of us girls stayed at this hotel for one night in April. We booked the room on the hotel's website and paid €100 for a room with a double bed, a pull out sofa, and a full Irish breakfast. The sofa bed left a little to be desired - the "mattress" was extremely thin and not that comfortable. The double bed was fine. The bathroom was clean and the water temp and pressure were great! The hotel lobby was quite nice, nicer than the rooms in fact. We did not hear any noise nor did we have any other disruptions. We had requested a late check out which they were unable to grant us, however, they did store our luggage for several hours in a secure room right by the front desk. The Irish breakfast buffet was quite sizeable and fresh food was put out frequently. The location was fantastic!
Overall, a good stay and I would stay here again and I would also recommend this hotel to my friends.

“Pleasantly surprised”

Jurys Inn Parnell Street

We have just got back from a girls weekend break in Dublin staying in Jurys Inn.

We found the location of the hotel great for getting to Temple Bar and the Arlington (about 10/15 mins walk), so far enough from the hustle & bustle without being too far away, the rooms were clean and of a decent size and check in/out was quick and efficient.

All in all we couldn't fault anything.

Just for reference, we stayed in rooms 405, 407 & 408 - the first two were extremely quiet as they looked over the courtyard area at the back of the hotel - i slept with my window open and did not hear any noise other than the very odd siren. The other room was at the front of the hotel so was on the road but apparently, even that room was not overly noisy.

“Good location that's about it”

Jurys Inn Parnell Street

Booked a twin room for me and my friend to head down to a concert in the Ambassador Theatre which is right across the road. Got to the room and there was a double bed and a sofa bed. I thought fair enough I suppose I can take a sofa bed for one night, it was cheap after all. Pulled the bed out to discover **yellow** stains on the mattress!! And no sheets or cover to put over these. I know it was cheap but that's ridiculous.
