I stay in Dublin every 3 weeks - coming over to see family from England. So im extremely learned when it comes to accom about the Dublin area.

Normally i stay in B&B's (because of cost (and there are still perhaps a few decent ones of note left in the city)).. Left it too late this month and booked very last minute at the Comfort Inn in City West.. Just incredible... Ive stayed in a comfort inn in Kensington, London before and that was a complete dump.. I mean a real flea infested, overpriced dump. However, the comfort inn in city west is new and I have to say one of the best rooms Ive ever stayed in (real 5 star cleanliness and luxury). I rent a car in Dublin and the hotel is a little jaunt away from the city centre and trying to get into town im sure would be a bind.

I paid about £60 for the night, breakfast was self serve (though more than adequate) and like i say the room made up for a few issues im sure others would have if they were doing the tourism thing in the city. For food, there is a nice new restaurant bar (not part of the hotel) across the atrium.

The negatives, Dont stay here if you intend using public transportation to get into town and don't expect any form of additional hotel luxury in terms of a hotel bar or outside-the-room amenities. Do stay here if you need an excellent, clean and luxurious room to get your head down cheaply for the night. :)

Myself and my boyfriend wanted to go away for a night for Valentine's day close to home so didn't have to travel to far and I found the Comfort Inn on the internet. It was easy to enough to find. The staff we're really nice and very helpful. The room was lovely. The beds had duvet's on them and they were really comfortable. The whole place was very clean and fresh. I like the decor, it is very modern. The rooms were big and airy. We got a bedroom looking over a court yard. It was really nice. We also had dinner in the Kingswood House. It was very fancy. The lobby was lovely, We had a few drinks at the bar as well. I would definatly recommend this hotel to anyone and I will most certainly go back. :)

I have just returned from a Weekend in Dublin where I stayed at the Comfort Inn, City West Hotel. The staff were so friendly from the offset, the hotel's interiors far exceeded my expectations and the bedrooms were comfortable and had everything you would need for your stay. The hotels ambience was friendly, welcoming and relaxing, breakfast was great and again the staff were friendly and attentive. Overall I had the most enjoyable stay and will certainly be recommending this hotel to many of my friends and family who all love to get away and unwind.....K. Barley, Co. Limerick

We stayed in Comfort Inn Citywest as i booked a table in KCH for my husband's birthday.
The hotel is new and modern. The lobby is bright and cosy. The male behind the desk was extremely helpful and proffessional.
The rooms itself are spacious and modern. The hotel also offers complimentary brodband.
Breakfast was hot and tasty although very busy the staff was helpful and well organised.

I have no hsitation recommending this hotel.
