“Absoloutely Stunning”

This is an excellent hotel. I have been to Killarney many, many times over the years and I've stayed in many hotels and Bed and Breakfasts. However, this was the best.

From the minute we walked it in the door, it was luxury all around. The check in was swift and easy and the gentleman and reception was very courteous. As we arrived early and our room was not yet ready, he offered to take our bags for us, whilst we set off into the town.

Upon return, we received our room key and we were told that our bags had been taken to our room. The room was a wonderful size, with a lovely mountain view. The bathroom was large with a bath and seperate shower.

Breakfast was great and although the hotel was extremely busy, the staff were very attentive at all times and nothing was too much trouble. Dinner was exquisite and at a very reasonable price also.

The bar is nice and cosy and the drawing room provides a beautiful place to relax after a long day.

I recommend this hotel highly and I will most definitely return.

“Check out the sculptures”

Randles Court Hotel

If staying in the Kerry region, especially Killarney , take a stop in the Randles Court Hotel situated near the centre of the town, within walking distance of the railway. The Food and service are great, the rooms spacious but check out the wonderful sculptures , obviously collected by someone with a good eye, which are dotted all over the hotel. I had 2 nights B/B with dinner for 209 Euro. Pretty good value considering the quality of the rooms and the food. It makes a break from the 'formula ' hotels which can all seem the same.

“A great place to stay”

Randles Court Hotel

Feb 23, 2008

Visited Killarney for a weekend away recently and chose The Randles from a friends reccommendation. When we first arrived we thought that it was possibly a little bit posh and uptight but that idea changed very quickly once we met the Girl at reception. She was great and gave some great info about Killarney including restaurants and things to do. She advised of a restaurant called Stone Chat which seems to be one the local's secret haunts. Had a great room with a lovely big bed. A wonderful power shower. The Room had a CD/DVD/Plasma TV and fast Wi-Fi. There is a big selection of DVD's which is a great addition and no charge like some hotels. Every body there was really friendly and The Bar with The conservatoty is a lovely spot for pre or post dinner cocktails. We did not eat in The Restaurant for dinner .The Black & white restaurant looks lovely but was full when we inquired. We had 2 great breakfasts and again really nice friendly service. .The Jams are delicious and all sugar free. Overall had alovely time in Killarney and The National park is wonderful. Would highly reccommend a visit.

“Reasonable”

Randles Court Hotel

Jan 9, 2008

Did a two-night stay pre New Year - basically an OK hotel.

Our family room was spacious and had everything you'd need. The swimming pool was much appreciated by our daughter - although it's a plain pool - nothing special for kids.

Breakfast was OK - which pretty much sums up the hotel - it just lacked a bit of character.

One minus - our daughter left a toy in the room when we left. Th hotel's handling of our request (by phone) to find it left something to be desired...we had to drive back to get the toy - with the help of the Services Manager (thank you !).

In contrast, the Hotel manager's indifference to our request for help on this won't be forgotten in a hurry - sort out the customer service guys !

“My favourite hotel ever”

Randles Court Hotel

I have stayed in hotels all round Ireland (and the rest of Europe and the US) and I vote Randles Court in Killarney as the best I have ever stayed in. The staff are delightful, courteous and dilligent in the service they offer. they just couldn't do too much for us. The bedroom, bar, lounge and dining room were very comfortable with ever mod con and yet the place felt friendly and warm.

Being so near to the centre of Killarney my husband and I were surprised how quiet and peaceful this hotel is. When we stayed recently we arose fairly early to swim, having the swimming pool all to ourselves and then, having bathed and dressed, had a scrumptious breakfast. On the first day I ate far too much as I couldn't resist the cooked breakfast having already helped myself to excellent cereals and fruit.

The owner/manager Tom Randles, was ever present presumably to ensure 100% customer servic, and was charming. I cannot recommend this hotel too much. The best in Killarney for sure and probably the best in Ireland.
