“Lovely stay at Camp Junction House”

Camp Junction House B&B

5 of 5 stars
Plymouth, Michigan
Nov 8, 2007

Camp Junction House was one of the highlights of our stay in Ireland. John Doyle is a most gracious host...he welcomed us with a cup of tea in front of a blazing fireplace. John's extensive knowledge of the area guided us with our touring and golfing plans. Our spotless, ensuite room had a spectacular view of lovely Tralee Bay and our delicious full-Irish breakfast was served with full-Irish hospitality The B&B is within walking distance of The Railway Tavern where you can have a few pints with the residents of Camp and enjoy Sunday sessions featuring John's father on the accordian.

“Beautiful stay in the Penninsula”

Camp Junction House B&B

5 of 5 stars
Florida, USA

Dingle is so beautiful, and staying in John Doyle's place added to the full experience that was overall wonderful. John was very accommodating and hospitable. He was helpful in making us feel at home, making sure we had everything we need, and guiding us as to how to enjoy the peninsula the most. His property is a divine location, and the view out over the bay is worth sitting and enjoying. We enjoyed everything about our stay there. It helps that it's a brand new house, and done with most care and precision, so it's a very cozy, clean, and modern place. The rooms were nicely sized, and wow...can't say enough great things.

“Best of our stay in Ireland!”

Camp Junction House B&B

5 of 5 stars
Durham, North Carolina
Sep 23, 2007

We just got back from our week long stay in Ireland, and John's place
here in Camp was by far our favorite place to stay of the week. He is
so welcoming and hospitable, but his place is amazing. You couldn't ask for a better view anywhere. The rooms we stayed in were very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was very nice and had everything we needed, and very spacious. Breakfast was excellent (although we didn't eat very much, since we had such a good time the night before at the very friendly Junction Bar across the street, haha).

Breakfast is served in a very big room with leather furniture and a big tv for lounging, but in the morning the view is just amazing!John was so helpful with directions and anything else we needed. The true Irish experience here. I can't say enough about John or his beautiful place. Thanks!

“Superb Value For Money”

Camp Junction House B&B

5 of 5 stars
Trowbridge
Sep 7, 2007

Stayed here for four nights in August 2007.

Prior to our stay I had extensive email correspondence with John, the owner and was reassured that we would be able to arrive late. We were running late and arrived at the premises at 2300 hours. Although John was not in he had made arrangments for us to be met by somebody else who showed us to our room. Plenty of parking which is well off the road. Felt safe.

Rooms are excellent, we were allocated a double room with large toilet/shower room. The bed was very comfortable and when morning came we were able to take in the awesome view from the bedroom across the bay.

As we don't eat beef or pork it can make breakfasts difficult, however, John was willing to cook us a vegetarian breakfast which was of superb quality.

Not only does this place have outstanding views across the bay the host is one of the nicest people that I have met. He made us feel as though the place was ours and that no areas were "out of bounds". John is very accommodating and incredibly knowledgeable about the local area. He recommended numerous activities for us to try in our short stay there.

We paid €70.00 per night for a couple sharing a triple room, we've never had as much space and nowhere as clean for this sort of money before. We would highly recommend this as an excellent place to stay to enjoy this lovely area.

Well done to John, he has created a beautiful place and we wish him every success for the future.

“loved it!”

Camp Junction House B&B

Aug 17, 2007

John Doyle has what it takes to be successful! He was charming and welcomed us to his house with great interest and pleasure. The 4 of us stayed in 2 rooms. At the time we were one of the few there as a wedding party was preparing to come in. His advice was dead-on and service outstanding. Great location. Easy to find and use as a base. We walked on the beach across the street from the inn and enjoyed perfect hospitiality. The house is brand new and extremely clean. We will visit again!
