This hotel has a wonderful location. It is situated across the street from a metro station, which we used frequently. Additionally, its locale provides easy access to the Invalides, Eiffel Tower and other sites dependent upon how much you are willing to walk.
The staff, particularly the young women working during the day, are extremely helpful and friendly. You feel welcomed every time you enter the building.
Our room was at the top, under the eaves. There was a window with a view basically, of the wall of the building across the courtyard. This was not a major issue, as the window did provide fresh air and sunlight. The room was small, but charming. It was bigger than the rooms at the Best Western down the street.
A drawback for us was the bathroom. It was rather small. The toilet was placed very close to the wall so that the door could close. The shower itself was actually a handheld shower head and coil that came from the spigot into the bath tub. It took some practice to not have the water squirting all over the bathroom while you rinsed off!
Everything was very clean, lovely bed linens, nice furniture. It definitely had the feel of a boutique, Parisian hotel which was what we wanted. We are already planning our return.
